About the Author

Rainald Goetz is one of Germany's most influential contemporary writers. Born in Munich in 1954, he studied both medicine and history before dedicating himself to literature. His work explores media, popular culture, politics, and contemporary life with extraordinary formal innovation. Winner of the prestigious Georg Büchner Prize, Goetz is celebrated for his fearless, genre-defying writing. Rave is translated from the German by Adrian Nathan West.
