About the Author

Ito Romo is a Mexican American writer celebrated for his contributions to Chicano Gothic literature. His fiction blends horror, history, folklore, and speculative storytelling to explore migration, identity, memory, and the legacies of empire. Filth Eaters is his debut novel.
