About the Author

Urszula Honek is a Polish poet and writer whose work draws on the landscapes and communities of rural southern Poland. White Nights, her debut story collection, was longlisted for the International Booker Prize and has been widely praised for its poetic language and quiet emotional power. It is translated from the Polish by Kate Webster.
